EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas told reporters in Brussels on Wednesday that Moscow cannot be trusted, after a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russia's Vladimir Putin in which both presidents agreed to a temporary 30-day halt on strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

The representative further stated that Russia "can't be trusted" and that it's "clear" that Russia does not "really want to make any kind of concessions," regarding the Ukraine war. "What Russia wants is for Ukraine to let its guard down," she added.
