French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock will discuss the possibility of introducing a new set of actions against Russia over its military intervention in Ukraine, his department said on Tuesday.
The two ministers will meet later in the day. During their encounter, they will also talk about the forthcoming summits of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), scheduled for April 5 and 6, and the European Union's foreign ministers, scheduled for April 11.
Earlier in the day, French Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire urged the EU to work closely together on creating a coordinated response to the rising inflation and the crisis in Ukraine.
