Messi says he's not retiring from Argentina national football team

Argentina football team captain Lionel Messi after winning the World Cup on Sunday said he is not done playing for the national team.

"I want to continue playing as World Cup champions with Argentina," the 35-year-old icon told TyC Sports after the match ended.

His comments come after Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni told a press conference that the World Cup finals game in Qatar will be the last for Messi in the national team.
