A Panama-flagged oil tanker was hit by a missile in the Red Sea, around 10 nautical miles southwest of Yemen's Mocha port, a British security firm Ambrey reported.
The attack occurred recently, though the exact date was not specified.
Although no group has claimed responsibility yet, the Yemen-based Houthis have been targeting vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since late last year.
