Moscovici: Hopefully we can avoid no-deal Brexit

Hopefully, there is still room to avoid a no-deal scenario of United Kingdom's exit from the European Union, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici told France's RTL morning program with Yves Calvi on Monday.

"At the moment, absolutely everything is possible," the commissioner underlined, raising concerns on the future of Britain's withdrawal.

Looking at possible Brexit outcomes, London could leave the EU on April 12 without a deal, ask for another extension before April 12 on the condition of holding elections for the European Parliament and, finally, bring back the deal this week before Parliament to be approved in order for the UK to leave the EU on May 22.
