Russia will be asking for a United Nations Security Council vote on the Nord Stream resolution next week, Dmitry Polyansky, Moscow's First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, stated on Friday.
In a Telegram post, the Russian official mentioned that the country presented the draft with regard to the Nord Stream resolution today, in which it seeks an "independent international investigation under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General into the Nord Stream bombing" to be held.
RIA Novosti reported earlier, citing a UN source, that the resolution calls for the identification of all the accomplices who performed, organized, and sponsored the Nord Stream sabotage.
