Netflix Inc's President of Advertising Amy Reinhard shared on Wednesday during a presentation to advertisers, that the company's ad-supporter plan has reached 40 million global monthly active users, surging from 5 million a year ago and almost doubling the 23 million reported on January 11.
Reinhard also revealed that the streaming company will introduce an "in-house advertising technology platform" during the last months of 2025 which will provide advertisers with fresh purchasing methods, "new insights to leverage, and new ways to measure impact."
The company mentioned currently having 270 million subscribers and 183 billion hours watched by users in 2023.
