Israel raised new issues with regard to the potential ceasefire deal with Hamas, which could lead to the prolongation of negotiations, Haaretz reported citing an unnamed foreign source.
"Hamas had already given its approval to the latest stance presented by Israel. But in the meeting on Friday, Israel presented new issues," the source remarked.
Meanwhile, an Israeli official told the news outlet that the country presented a "tough stance" during the talks.
