OMV: Gazprom cut gas deliveries by 70%

Austrian company OMV stated on Monday that Russian state gas company PJSC Gazprom informed it of a reduction in gas deliveries. Supplies from Russia via the Baumgarten hub have been reduced by 70%, OMV said.

Earlier today, Italian energy company Eni announced gas deliveries to the country have been cut by approximately 34%.

Working natural gas in storage across the United States decreased by 62 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ending March 7 compared to the previous seven-day period to land at 1,698 Bcf, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated in its report published on Thursday.The stockpiles decreased by 628 Bcf year-on-year and by 230 Bcf compared to the five-year average of 1,928 Bcf.
