Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Sunday claimed the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) "failed in its main mission" of "ensuring security and cooperation in Europe."
"The fact that Westerners are not doing well with geography, we have already understood," she said, noting that OSCE cannot help resolve the situation on the Korean Peninsula with neither North Korea nor South Korea as members. She blasted the security organization for allegedly adopting laws "against the Russian population and other non-titular nations" and said its collapse is "imminent."
The statement comes after OSCE convened a meeting in Poland without Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov present in light of Moscow's military operation in Ukraine.
