Pentagon reportedly says US warship attacked in Red Sea

The Pentagon on Sunday acknowledged reports of attacks on an American warship and several commercial vessels in the Red Sea, according to the Associated Press.

While the circumstances of these attacks remain unspecified, maritime security sources, cited by the media outlet, indicate that a bulk carrier ship was targeted by at least two drones during its voyage.

As of now, the United States Department of Defence (DoD) has yet to release official details regarding the reported incidents.
