Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on Friday, while delivering a speech, that Tehran has emerged as an "undisputed power" in the region, thanks to its security forces.

He went on to praise the country's army, insisting that this is the "stronghold of the Iranian government and nation." "The existence of a strong and prepared army has enabled Iran to implement its discourse in the region," establishing communication and peace, he added.

Pezeshkian noted that while in the past Iran had to depend on its "enemies" to get "the simplest defense tools," nowadays, the country has made "great progress" in producing its own military and defense capabilities.
