Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MbS, spoke on Thursday and noted that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies (OPEC+) are "consistently fulfilling their obligations in order to maintain the necessary balance and stability in the global energy market," the Kremlin announced.
The two leaders also talked about "expanding mutually beneficial" bilateral trade and economic links. In addition, they also discussed the Syria situation and the meeting between the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey in Tehran earlier this week.
