Britain and the EU are on the brink of signing a Brexit divorce deal as UK Prime Minister Theresa May is on her way to Brussels, Financial Times reported.
Northern Ireland and the future role of European courts in Britain are the two biggest political obstacles to opening trade talks and May is said to have a potential solution for them, according to the report.
May is apparently ready to sign a draft joint text with the European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker on Monday and the only potential problem now could be the Irish and their possible last-minute objections.
