Lebanese militant group Hezbollah said on Tuesday that it launched a "large volley of rockets" targeting an Israeli aerial surveillance base, which is located in the northern part of Israel.
The group noted that it targeted the Mount Meron base in retaliation for the Israeli attack near the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, which is said to have killed senior Hezbollah commander, Hassan Hussein Salami.
Yesterday's attack on the eastern part of Lebanon represents the first time Israel targeted the area since the war between Israel and Hamas started.
