Russia 'shocked' by death of Belarus foreign minister

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Saturday said Moscow was "shocked" by reports that Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei has died and added that the country will release official condolences "soon."

Makei was scheduled to meet for talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Monday on the sidelines of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) conference.
