Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova ensured on Wednesday that Moscow has evidence that Ukrainian forces used white phosphorus ammunition on multiple occasions.
"Our country's law enforcement agencies, together with the Russian Defense Ministry, have obtained irrefutable evidence of the repeated use of white phosphorus munitions dropped from drones by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in September," Zakharova said at a press briefing.
Furthermore, the spokeswoman noted that "this fact" signals that Kiev owns chemical weapons that were not disposed of in compliance with international regulations.
