Russian air defense systems shot down 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight, TASS reported on Wednesday, citing the country's Ministry of Defense.

The ministry said that "air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed three aircraft-type UAVs over the Belgorod region, four over the Kursk region, two in the Voronezh region and two over the Rostov region."

A Ukrainian drone struck a Russian ambulance, killing two people and injuring one doctor late Tuesday.
