Russian air defense systems shot down 17 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight, TASS reported on Friday, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 17 Ukrainian UAVs, of which 6 were intercepted over the territory of the Voronezh region, 6 over the territory of the Saratov region, 4 were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region and 1 over the territory of the Bryansk region," the ministry said.
The report made no mention of injuries or damage.
