Russian forces are "gradually withdrawing" from the Borivs'kyi district of Ukraine's Kharkiv region toward the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, the Borova village council announced on Telegram on Sunday.
Moscow has taken complete control of the area and its troops are seeking shelter in local buildings, residents' houses as well as hospitals, per the announcement.
"There is no cell connection and no Internet," the statement added, noting that some areas are "left without electricity and gas."
