Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseev, announced on Tuesday that the army expects to receive this year a total of 12 new ships, including four submarines, of which two are nuclear.
According to Moiseev, the Russian Navy is also carrying out a 50-unit program of various ships, vessels, and boats. In addition, the army plans to complete new small missile ships this year.
The news comes as the Russian army tries to sustain the momentum gained in the last month in its Ukraine invasion and renewed concerns from Kiev's allies about the most recent Russian victories on the battlefield.
