Ryabkov says US policies harm its competitiveness

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov criticized Washington's policies for undermining its own economic competitiveness.

Speaking with TASS, Ryabkov said the US long worked to weaken European Union economies and is now harming itself through what he called "thoughtless, irresponsible policies."

Ryabkov also touched on US restrictions on Russian uranium imports, set to escalate from 2024 to a complete ban in 2028, which led to Russia temporarily limiting enriched uranium exports to the US.
