S. Korea's Yoon expresses condolences for fire victims

Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol expressed his condolences for the firefighters and government officials killed while battling the wildfires burning in the southern regions of South Korea, Yonhap reported.

"I mourn the loss of the four firefighters and public officials who tragically lost their lives while battling the wildfires," Yoon wrote on Facebook. He also urged the government to mobilize all available resources in order to quickly put an end to the blaze and provide support to the people affected by the fire.

Earlier, it was reported that a wildfire had started in South Korea's Sancheong County and then spread to its surroundings. Four people were killed in the blaze, while six were injured and 1,500 were evacuated.
