South Korea's military resumed its propaganda broadcasts toward North Korea conducted via loudspeakers, Yonhap reported on Friday, citing the military.
The broadcasts were conducted from Thursday evening to early Friday for the first time since June 9 in response to Pyongyang's latest launch of trash-filled balloons.
"The military's response going forward will fully depend on North Korea's actions," Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said Friday, adding that the broadcasts were conducted in areas where the balloons were launched.
