South Korea's Constitutional Court announced on Thursday that it will deliver its ruling on Prime Minister Han Duck-soo's impeachment on March 24.

"The ruling on the impeachment case of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo is scheduled to take place at 10 am [local time] on March 24th in the Supreme Court," the court told reporters, setting the date before the ruling for South Korea's impeached President Yoon Suk-yeol, who was recently released from prison after 52 days in custody.

After taking over the role of acting president following Yoon's impeachment, Han was also impeached for refusing to complete the impeachment procedure against Yoon by declining to appoint more justices to the Constitutional Court.
