The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated that North Korea launched some ten short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea on Thursday.
The JSC estimated the devices came from the Sunan area of Pyongyang and flew around 350 kilometers before crashing into the East Sea, meaning that KN-25 super-large multiple rocket launchers were potentially used. Furthermore, South Korea condemned the move, noting that the rockets fired had the range to reach Seoul.
The previous day, hundreds of large balloons carrying garbage and manure flew into South Korea from its northern neighbor.
