The Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund is nearing an agreement to buy a large number of Boeing commercial airplanes, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the sources, Saudi Arabia plans to use the jets for a new national airline and could announce the deal with Boeing, which is estimated at $35 billion, as soon as Sunday.
Some sources added that the agreement is set to create nearly 100,000 jobs in the United States.
