German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Kiev, paying his second visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, German media reported on Monday.
Upon his arrival, Scholz said that he will announce a new military aid to Ukraine, worth €650 million, expected to be delivered in December.
Furthermore, Scholz stressed that Germany will "remain Ukraine's strongest supporter in Europe," while praising Ukrainian people for defending the country "heroically" for more than 1,000 days.
