Recently elected British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak held on Thursday phone calls with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and reflected on the mutual partnership with the two, 10 Downing Street revealed.
Sunak agreed with both Germany and Canada on the need to "continue supporting Ukraine and maintaining pressure on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin through robust sanctions," as Moscow proceeds with its "abhorrent attacks."
Moreover, UK's prime minister also got in contact with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss "shared global challenges," alongside "security, defense and economic partnership."
