The Swiss Producer and Import Price Index remained unchanged at 107.2 points in July 2024 compared with the previous month, the country's Federal Statistical Office (Bundesamt) revealed in its report published on Thursday. The index has fallen 1.7% compared to July 2023.
While domestic product prices remained flat, certain segments like petroleum products and electronic components saw price hikes.
In contrast, the Import Price Index edged up by 0.1%, driven by higher costs for petroleum and natural gas, despite decreases in non-ferrous metals and agricultural products like vegetables.
