The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense reported that 22 warplanes belonging to the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China entered the country's air defense zone on Thursday evening.
After noting that the same number of aircraft crossed the strait's center line the day before, the defense ministry accused China's Communist Party of being to blame for these actions, adding that its Air Force would deploy air patrol units and track and monitor air defense missiles.
The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan emphasized that the Chinese military launched 11 ballistic missiles into Taiwanese territorial waters, five of which landed inside Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
