Donges Refinery, the French company in the ownership of Total SE, said on Tuesday its production will be halted for four months starting from Monday.

The company said the reasons are "economic."

A leading full-range supplier of bridge and steel construction company had a major strike in September when the company decided to disrupt its 231,000 barrel-per-day refinery due to layoffs.
