Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated at a press conference on Wednesday that he thinks it is "absolutely right that more people be talking and using the word genocide in terms of what Russia is doing, what [Russian President] Vladimir Putin has done" in Ukraine.
"These are all things that are war crimes that Putin is responsible for, these are all things that are crimes against humanity," Trudeau told reporters.
The prime minister's statement came in response to the question about United States President Joe Biden's labeling Russia's military operation in Ukraine as "genocide" and Putin as a "dictator."
