United States President Donald Trump described his plan for the Gaza Strip in a Fox News interview as "real-estate development for the future," adding that the US military won't have a presence there.

"No," Trump said when asked about US boots in the Gaza Strip. He noted that instead, "Israel will watch it." Earlier, Trump stressed he would call for canceling the ceasefire deal in Gaza if all of the Israeli hostages weren't returned at "12 o'clock" on Saturday.

Hamas said it would delay the release of three hostages who were scheduled to be freed on Saturday "until further notice," accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement.
