Streaming television service FuboTV Inc. sued the Fox Corporation, The Walt Disney Company's ESPN and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. on Tuesday claiming that the previously announced joint venture between those firms is harming Fubo’s interest, The Wall Street Journal reported.

According to the media outlet that had access to the undisclosed document, Fubo argued that the businesses are using “their power over commercially critical sports content to force Fubo to broadcast unwanted, expensive content that prevents Fubo from offering the sports-centric package of channels that its customers want.” Moreover, it complained about being charged above-market prices.

Earlier in February, the three companies revealed the "new service will showcase thousands of high-profile sporting events," starting in fall 2024.
