Trump: Hush money case 'should be terminated'

EPA-EFE/JUSTIN LANE

Former United States President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took to his Truth Social on Friday to react to the announcement that the sentencing for the case brought against him, concerning alleged hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, has been postponed until after the upcoming presidential election on November 5.

"The Manhattan D.A. Witch Hunt has been postponed because everyone realizes that there was NO CASE, I DID NOTHING WRONG! ... This case should be rightfully terminated, as we prepare for the Most Important Election in the History of our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!," Trump wrote.

Judge Juan Merchan rescheduled Trump's sentencing from September 18 to November 26.
