"I've called on Congress to pass landmark legislation, creating simple [and] common-sense rules for stablecoins and market structure," United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday.
Addressing the audience at the 2025 Digital Asset Summit, the US head of state remarked that the pioneers of the crypto community will be able to "improve our banking security and wealth for American consumers and businesses."
With this technological revolution, the US will see an "explosion of economic growth," Trump mentioned, adding that with the US dollar-backed stablecoins, the dominance of the country's currency will be expanded.
