United States President Donald Trump slammed "Operation Chokepoint 2.0" on Thursday, calling it "lawless."
Speaking at the 2025 Digital Asset Summit, he insisted that his administration is "ending the last administration's regulatory war on crypto and Bitcoin," which includes halting the aforementioned operation. This act went "far beyond" regulation, Trump commented, adding that it was a form of "lawfare through government weaponization."
"Frankly, it was a disgrace," he noted.
