US President Donald Trump reiterated on his Truth Social account that the US will regain its respect and money on April 2.
"April 2nd is Liberation Day in America!!! For DECADES we have been ripped off and abused by every nation in the World, both friend and foe. Now it is finally time for the Good Ol' USA to get some of that MONEY, and RESPECT, BACK. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!" he wrote on Friday.
The head of the White House refers to a global reciprocal tariff policy set to take effect on April 2.
