British former health secretary Jeremy Hunt (pictured) endorsed former finance secretary Rishi Sunak in his race to become the United Kingdom's new prime minister following Boris Johnson's decision to step down.

Today's Conservative Party leadership race left Jeremy Hunt and current finance secretary Nadhim Zahawi out of the picture, with Sunak becoming one step closer to victory with 88 votes.

"...Rishi is one of the most decent straight people with the highest standards of integrity that I have ever met in British politics, and that's why I would be proud to have him as my next prime minister," Hunt said.
