British Foreign Secretary David Cameron urged Tuesday the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to do a diligent and quick investigation into the attacks perpetrated during the weekend that affected Palestinian refugees in Rafah, causing around 294 casualties, including deaths and injuries.

On his social account X, Cameron described the images that have come to him of the attacks as "deeply distressing,” demanding the IDF investigation to "be swift, comprehensive & transparent." "We urgently need a deal to get hostages out & aid in, with a pause in fighting to allow work towards a long-term sustainable ceasefire," he insisted.

News reported that despite international condemnation of the attacks in Rafah, Israeli forces reportedly continued to cause more deaths in the area.
