UK police conduct controlled blasts after Regent St. bomb alert

Metropolitan Police carried out controlled explosions on Regent Street in central London on Wednesday after a bomb threat involving a suspicious vehicle.

Officers confirmed the vehicle was non-suspicious, and the incident was fully resolved.

"Road closures were necessary to ensure public safety," the police said on its X's account, adding, "The vehicle was found to be non-suspicious."
