British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised the UK will support Ukraine to prevent any country from invading it in the future.
"We will provide support so that Ukraine is never invaded again," said Johnson after his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. On Saturday, Johnson pledged 120 armored vehicles and anti-ship missile systems for Ukraine as well an additional $500 million (£384 million) in World Bank lending, on top of the £100 million of military equipment, which London already promised on Friday.
The prime minister went on to promise his government will continue expanding sanctions on Russia until Moscow withdraws its troops from Ukraine, adding that London intends to avoid Russia's coal, gas and oil.
