UK urges G7 to limit tech exports to China

British Foreign Secretary and Tory leadership candidate Liz Truss (pictured) urged the Group of Seven (G7) on Wednesday to limit technology exports to China.

"China is becoming increasingly aggressive. The country has an authoritarian regime, which raises profound security concerns for Britain and the rest of the world," Truss argued.

The secretary's remarks come amid rising tensions between China and the United States following a visit by United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a US congressional delegation.
