The United Kingdom's Ministry of Defense shared on Friday in its most recent intelligence update that Russia is facing a dilemma over where it should deploy its forces.

According to the ministry, Russian commanders are now struggling to decide whether to "strength defenses in Russia’s border regions or reinforce their lines in occupied Ukraine," as attacks in the Belgorod area continue.

The official body added that although Russian forces managed to quickly succeed in containing the latest raid in the Belgorod region, carried out by "partisan groups," as per the Russian Ministry of Defense itself, the country "has resorted to deploying the full range of military firepower on its own territory, including attack helicopters, and the TOS-1A heavy thermobaric rocket launcher."
