US-ASEAN meeting delayed - report

The planned White House meeting between United States President Joe Biden and leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has been postponed indefinitely, four anonymous sources familiar with the move told Politico.

The special summit was due to take place early next week in Washington DC.

A spokesperson for the US National Security Council told the media organization that Washington and ASEAN are cooperating on finding other dates for the meeting.
