United States State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller expressed Washington's deep concerns about the "abhorrent terrorist attacks" in Raanana, near Tel Aviv, which left one person dead and others injured on Monday.
"We send our deepest condolences to the victims' families," Miller said in the statement.
According to the Israeli police, two suspects who stole vehicles and ran over people were later detained. Hamas previously said that the attacks were "a natural response" to the aggression against the Palestinian people in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
