The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said in an update that it destroyed a drone boat launched by the Houthis in the Red Sea in the last 24 hours. It was unclear whether the drone was actively attacking a vessel at the time.
CENTCOM said the drone boat "presented a clear and imminent threat to US and coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region." It vowed to continue protecting merchant and military vessels from the attacks by the Yemeni military group.
