US down in premarket, economic vows back in spotlight

Major United States stock indexes traded with losses in the premarket on Thursday as inflation data managed to offer only a temporary respite to investors. The attention is seemingly back to the global trade war, with many still fearing how it could affect the economy.

The Dow Jones slid 200 points or 0.49% at 4:16 am ET. A minute later, the Nasdaq 100 tumbled 0.85%, while the S&P 500 declined 0.64%.

The dollar traded 0.09% below the dollar at 4:17 am ET, going for 1.08749.
