The United States might include tanks in one of its future military aid packages for Ukraine, CNN reported citing a senior US military official.
The unnamed source told reporters that tanks are "absolutely on the table," but are not currently being considered over difficulties in the training of Ukrainian soldiers and maintaining the armored vehicles in question.
"We're looking at the entirety of the Ukrainian armed forces and considering for the future what capabilities they will need and how the US and our allies will be able to support Ukraine in building out those capabilities," the official was quoted as saying.
